🌋 Tokachidake is at JMA Volcanic Alert Level 2 (~1.5 km no-go around the 62-2 crater, since June 2026). The JMA boundary passes essentially at the Sandan-yama summit and east ridge — treat the summit area as inside unless the live bulletin shows otherwise — always check the live JMA bulletin and Kamifurano town notices before touring.
